Smoke Hoods for Surgifresh and PurVac Smoke Evacuators Used in conjunction with our armstand assistant, our smoke hoods are designed to be used with the Surgifresh and PureVac series of smoke evacuators. Our smoke hoods create a larger surface area allowing the smoke evacuator to capture significantly more smoke plume without having to move the tubing. ESU Smoke Evacuator Pencils ESU Pencils are designed to attach directly to most electrosurgical pencils. These pencils help to extract the smoke plume created during electrosurgical procedures, eliminating the need for an extra hand to hold the suction tubing. Our pencils are a latex-free, sterile product and are available in two different tip sizes. They are designed to work with either an in-line wall suction filter or with a smoke evacuator. Tubing Adapters and Reducers Surgimedics offers a variety of adapters and reducers that offer flexibility in choosing the right tubing for each electrosurgical or laser procedure. We offer tubing from 1 1/3" to 1/4" and many sizes in between. Using Surgimedics tubing in combination with our reducers and adapters guarantees the best performance.
